Bankruptcy

Under COBRA, retirees and their dependents who lose their employer-based health insurance coverage when an employer files under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code for reorganization are entitled to remain in the health insurance plan if the affected retirees pay up to 102 percent of the applicable premium.
